"Shot, executed, murdered or finished off, whatever particular personal interpretaion one gives to the facts -- there is a human truth which rise above any subjectivism. A man, a sick and wounded prisoner, was killed without any semblance of justice when he was in the hands of those whose duty it was to rigourously guard his physical safety. Beyond any moral law and above any legal principles the truth is that an elementary rule of war had been violated. A prisoner is always sacred."

Comandante Guevara was assassinated for the political convenience of a military junta. But his physical death guaranteed his immortality in the hearts and minds of all those who believe in human dignity, justice and freedom.
I think of the situation in Honduras now, and wonder how many young people are looking to the wisdom and memory of El Che for inspiration . . . I imagine there are a lot!

Che died a martyr's death! Thanks to that, his memory lives on.
The whole episode just proves the brutality and injustice of his murderers!
