In case you hadn't seen it. It's an absolute joke. What justification can there be for starting wars to restore "democracy" whilst one in six people on our planet STARVE.

And the U.S, the supposedly most powerful country in the world has homeless people and people who go hungry. But I guess that is capitalism.

The US uses their Imperialist wars in order to get the rich even more money.. while draining away money from the people.. It's ridiculous. The wars they fight are unjustified, half of them would be better off if the US did not intervene..

You may note that the global situation (whereby the wealth of populations becomes polarized) is reflective of individual industrialized nations where individual populations become polarized as well. The 'contradiction' noted in the article, while inappropriately analyzed (from a non-class perspective), is present in all capitalist societies.
In regards to the OP, the justification for starting wars is always the same - acquisition of resources. Whether or not that justification is synonymous with the rhetorical justification spouted by politicians is secondary to the material nature of war.
