Greetings, I'm a 18-year-old male of Hungary.

I used to discuss leftist views on another forum, thehelper.net (a help oriented site, focusing on general tech and blizzard games), but I got so sick and tired of their stupidity (on the Debates board), that I just googled "communist forum", and found my way here.
I've been reading a few posts, and I can say it's a very nice place.
May be a little too "thick" for me in the beginning, as this board is concentrated on communism (and other leftist views).

To say something about me...
And to tell the truth, I have not read any communism related things, that, we could say, are required for someone to call himself a communist - thinking of the Communist Manifesto, or Das Capital -, but those little pieces I've heard and put together, I'm a marxist.

I'm quite radical actually, and stupid people can boil my blood instantly, but I'll try to refrain from using excessive foul language towards my fellow forum members, comrades.

Might I also say, I take bad-mouthing very well towards me (although it may turn into a "flame war", it's uncommon, and I can forgive), so if I act or say something stupid, you can kick my ass.

There are probably things you won't like about me, for example
I'm sexist(?). I wouldn't say.
I strongly believe that men and women are not equal, but do equal.
Differences are obvious, and both sexes have their own "part" in society, but neither is more important than the other.
So I might view this a little conservatively, but I find this right, and others stupid :P

Anarchists make me sick. I probably just made a few enemies with my first post, but I do not regret it. :p
I strongly oppose any and all anti-authoritarian movements, thoughts.
And frankly, I don't see how is it even allowed on a forum like this.
So please try to avoid me, or at least not initiate me with crazy ideas and/or foul language. :D

Hungary had its share of Communism, and many miss it. It's really better to learn about that age from your parents, grandparents, than documentaries and books (which too are important and most likely accurate!).
But this country sucks.
Well, actually the people. I just can't begin to describe it.
Anyway, I'm also fed up with the weather (gets hotter and hotter).

So, in a few months, I'm moving to Scotland (somewhere in the highlands if possible), permanently.

I like all living beings but humans.
I unspeakably hate human flaws, such as jealousy, ignorance, and... oh well, these two sum it up pretty well.
I freaking love star trek (TNG and Voyager mainly), and I know a lot of stuff, but I don't really think I'm a "trekkie".
My mood can change in a flash, from a smiling funny guy, to a completely serious person, so don't be... frightened :P

I think that's all for now. Tomorrow I start digging myself into the massive intellectual conversations. ^^
So long!

Acknowledging that men and women have obvious physical differences, but ought to be treated equally and fairly, isn't sexism at all.

And frankly, I don't see how is it even allowed on a forum like this. Why not? Most of the admins and many moderators are anarchists. :tt2:

Welcome to the forum, boyo

welcome, why excactly do you think anarchists shouldn't be allowed here?

What do you mean by that? Do you mean that one is better than the other?

Differences are obvious, and both sexes have their own "part" in society, but neither is more important than the other.
What exactly do you think is women's role in society? Why do you think it is so?

If your answers to these questions are what I expect them to be, I find your authoritarianism unsurprising.

Well, for a ridiculous example, a woman should not be a construction worker, and a man shouldn't (and can't) give birth to a child.
Women are excellent at multitasking, and they can take stress and pain to levels no man imagine. :D
A man is physically stronger. Also better at concentrating, the reason behind the many men scientist with women being so few.
They can take each others' job, but they will be less "effective".

I've yet to see a system of any kind that works with only either of the sexes.

A woman's role in society, tough question. The "share" of roles in a society can't be illustrated on a 2 dimensions diagram...
Traditionally, a woman should stay with her family.

I think women are better in organizing, and no idea should be disregarded because a woman thought it up, but a man should be in a position to either accept or reject a proposal, idea (as a "normal" family works).

At least this is what I experienced so far.
I often "bash" women (which I hardly think I'll do around here) to the level of "trolling", so it's more like teasing than a stereotype.
And god I'm happy when I find an exception. :)

When you get deeper in the issue, you won't find the answer to "is man or woman better?", instead you begin to realize, there are differences in differences in differences, and there are so many variables, you can't solve it. Just respect the "system".

Anarchism is the foolish dream of punks and hippies for me.
It's just so ridiculous and naive (no offense).

My wording is sometimes indeed off, sorry.
Apart from the obvious physical differences, the bodies and brains of a man and a woman work differently. And these three are the core of everything else.
I wouldn't say treated equally. I'd say, treated respectively. For example a man is going to have a hard time asking for maternity benefit for himself.

EDIT: lolz, I got banned from thnet for a week. ^^ :)

Why do you think this? Whats your reasons, evidence?

I'm not foolish, a punk or a hippie.

I'm not sexist too, actually

I can't imagine order without authority.
Well, I can imagine it, but it's utopia.

Why can't you imagine order without authority? What do you understand by authority?

We are discussing that in the other thread right now:P

I must say I'm having a hard time, I'm a lone authoritarian against so many, who are from the UK, therefore having a linguistic advantage as well...

I'm also a little disappointed, far too many people with knowledge only attained from books and documentaries cherishing utopias, like hippies...

I'm dictatorial, I can't help it.

Even if I wasn't born when communism still prevailed, but since I was always into the "stuff" very much, I listened to loads of opinions and stories of people who in fact experienced it.

And I liked what I've heard.

People tell you to shut the fuck up.
I'm not very revolutionary, at least I wouldn't have been back then.
They shut your mouth tight. And everyone was told what to do.
But Hungary wasn't unhappy. It progressed, people may have had very limited freedom, they COULD and DID have a good time if wanted.
I don't care how tight the rules and laws are, until I can be as free as I require to be.
People still could raise a family. Life was nice, and only stupid moron punks revolted, for rights they never needed.
I believe in steel fists, but only if punched the right faces.

Honestly you have more in common with fascists than socialist. I don't even know why you are here.

Basically fascism has everything you wanted. You want a strong leader, how about Benito Mussolini? You want good times? How about Strength through joy?

Hopefully our cultish utopian idealism will rub off on you. You'll probably end up being restricted to opposing ideologies at some point, but you're certainly civil and upfront, albeit wrong so don't take it the wrong way. :)

Welcome to the forum. Though I disagree with you on somethings, there are others which I can understand. I must ask though, why have you been restricted already? You may be authoritarian, and sure, alot of people on this forum probably do not have the stomach for that, but your not a fascist. Think you deserved more time:(.

Hail comrade.

I must disagree with you on a few things (your kind of blatant admittance of sexism) but I suppose that can be left until later, then we can get into the real arguments:laugh: Welcome to the forums!
