Hi, I'm an SWP member from Chesterfield (North Derbyshire, just south of Sheffield). I joined the SWP because their views seem to be closer to mine than any of the other parties and they have a fairly active branch in my area.
I actually joined this forum about a month ago and then forgot all about it so apologies for not introducing myself sooner. I look forward to talking with my fellow left wingers and hope the sectarianism (that members of ALL parties are at times guilty of, including mine) that seems to plague our movement does not get in the way too much.
