The person's argument that was because most people who are pro-Israel would call me anti-Semitic for that, I must be anti-Semitic...
I told him that even Israel recognizes the fact that it is a theocracy and has a state religion and it is impossible to deny that Israel is a one religion country, making Israel discriminatory and racist toward the large non-Jewish population. Christ that was fucking annoying. What an over used shit argument in the defense of a racist country.

Zionism doesn't care about fighting anti-semitism. When Sharon was in Eastern Europe and politicans there told him about how they were combating anti-semitism, he "joked" that it was too bad because it would cut down on the number of jews fleeing Eastern Europe to Israel and that Israel needed Eastern European/Russian jews for construction labor and other blue-collar work.

Zinonists generally doesn't want people to fight against anti-semitism, they wants people to migrate to Israel - that's there "solution" to bigotry.

Yeah, it only really got to me later, the guy was actually not radically in support of Israel, I think by the end of the discussion he did understand that there is a more rational force against Israel than the angry Hamas supporters shouting for the deaths of all Jews... even if he isn't going to become anti-Israel maybe in the future he will be more open to other views in general.

Yeah I get called anti-Semitic because I'm not a Zionist. At this point, I don't really care. A lot of people that oppose Israel like to preface their arguments with "I'm not anti-Semitic", but that kinda gives in to the idea that people that oppose both Israel and anti-Semitism are somehow the exception.
