theres no way you would fall asleep getting 3 little stars done, I mean it's literally a 15 minute job (if that!), and theres also no way you could stay asleep while someone is tattooing 56 stars on your bloody face.

Shes lying, quite obviously. Firstly in the news reports she said only wanted three, but then she also said she only wanted them up to a certain point on her face. She would have been able to feel the fourth one begin for starters.

What is more likely to have happened is that she decided to be all wild and crazy, then her dad freaked out when the end result looked like she was peppered by shotgun blast. Regretting what she had done, she concocted a bullshit story about falling asleep and waking up that way. Obviously because the guy doing the tattooing has a full face tattoo and his daughter is his little princess, the father believed the teary eyed "victim". Now to save face, she has had to perpetuate this lie all the way through the media and the courts rather than tell the truth. I doubt the girl thought it would go this far.

1. Her first tattoo. You don't sleep through tattoos.
2. Even if the guy had misheard her, given it was her first tattoo, the artist would obviously have doublechecked that she wanted to ink the entire one side of her face.
3. What the hell could the guy have gotten out of it?

I can buy being too boozed up to notice the sensation and smell of a marker pen, but there's no way anyone will sleep through having a needle constantly jabbed in them, unless some serious boozing/druggage was involved.
