Why exactly?? Who in their right mind (ie over 10, possessing musical intelligence) would wanna see Linkin Park, Bizkit and Iron Maiden??
and the kerrang weekender is for 18+ only!!! it sucks!
You're damn right the K! Weekender sucks. Minimum six people booked at a time. £90 fuckin each!!! Reading's the same price, and way better. And you can see Glassjaw on April 16th @ London Astoria (I know I am) and Amen you can see anytime in April on their Wildhearts tour. The rest of the bill is turgid bollox.
I'm going to Reading for the bands (and nightime drugs) and V for the drugs (and nightime...um, drugs).

Nice result GR by the way, thought Mr Wenger really knew what he was doing taking off Henry with a 1 goal lead.
Leeds still looks like the best bet for me.

*Ahem*
Iron Maiden founded nothing. Modern metal is just a combination of Faith No More and Metallica. Punk has fuckall to do with Iron Maiden and grunge is their ideological opposite.
What's wrong with them?? They suck, they smell, they shoulda split ages ago, and their fans are invariably ****s.

Thanks now im a **** even though you have never even met me, and also songs like Run to the hills are now shit... right that shows what an open minded, liberal person you are...
Yeh i know fuck all about music right but at least i dont set my political idiology by it.
If you dont mind i will simply take every thing you say as the ravings of an opinionated twat.

A round of applause please for AK47 totally missing the point of my post. The last sentence of my previous post was quite obviously tongue in cheek. It's the kinda thing I say to my 6ft 6 goth-metal mate who'd kick the shit outta me if I was serious...
And by ideological, I meant more in terms of morality and artistic beliefs than politics. I reckon you should open your eyes more. You never know, you might see something...

I've already got my reading tickets coz I missed out on weekend ones last year so I just had to go for the day. It stilled ruled though. The proper tickets will probably come out around may time I should think.
You're right about putting festivals in during exam times as well last year I missed the Ozzfest so I didn't get to see Tool which sucked and this year Download its the same. But this is the last year of exams for me, so no such problems next year.
