I don't know if you guys know but there's been a bit off shuffling around and now Twiggy Ramirez and some guy from NIN are in A Perfect Circle, cos one of the old members has now joined QOTSA, sounds like a really cool band, I'm looking forward to hearing some of their matierial when it comes out.

Nobody has joined QOTSA. Paz Lenchantin decided she'd focus her music entirely on Billy Corgan's shitty new band Zwan. I don't really understand it. Maynard is in both A Perfect Circle and Tool. I don't get why juggling two bands at the same time is so hard for Paz.

I think Paz took the decision cause Zwan is more in the lines of pop and less complex than APC.

HA, is that the girl he's singing with? hahaha. Maybe she just didn't wan't to be in two bands at once. I'm assuming that zwan is "canadian" although I'm not sure where it stands as far as CANCON regulations. and therefore would probably be based quite far from APC or whatever, so maybe it's too difficult, geographically speaking, to do both. And she said that she wants to "focus" on her music right? You can't do that if you're spread too thin, so what? She's a woman who knows her limits. But then again, I have no real clue about what you all are talking about, I'm just adding my two cents  Besides, Billy's a good quality musicion :)
(oh btw, can someone spell musicion for me- I feel like a fool, hahahaha..... musiccion.......musision....AGH, forget it, lol.....hmmm, mussission, AHHHHH, the english language is so stupid)

Wrong again Michael. Troy van Leuwen's quit APC for QOTSA. :)
Who cares anyway?? A Perfect Circle aren't a fraction of the quality of Tool. Frankly, their last album was pisspoor. I only watched their videos cos Paz was kinda fit. :cheesy:

You mentioned "some guy from NIN", I was under the impression that NIN was just a stagename for one man, Trent Reznor...

Lol, nice point! But technically NIN does consist of other people, a bit like Marilyn Manson consisting of other people (well it really did when Twiggy was still a member but now I'm not so sure...).

Yes. Twiggy rocks!

NIN is technically just Trent Reznor, but he does have a ‘live band’ consisting of Danny Lohner, Charlie Clouser and others. The ‘live band’ also does a lot of playing on various songs, check the song credits on each of the albums, especially the latest one.
And as for Manson, it is a band. It used to be called “Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids” but when they got their first manager they changed the name to just Marilyn Manson. The current lineup is Mr. Manson on vocals, Madonna Wayne Gacy (the last remaining original member other than Manson) on keyboards, John 5 on guitars, Ginger Fish on drums and Tim Skold on bass.

Umm...bear in mind that Marilyn Manson himself (Brian Warner) has never written a note of a MM song.

That isn't totally true. You should read his autobiography. He writes all the lyrics and his band and him write the music together.

I've read his autobiography twice. He writes the lyrics, but the music itself (ie the "notes") are written by John 5 and until now, Twiggy Ramirez.

Taken from the official APC site
Regarding the departure of the one known as “Paz”-
Paz has been a vegan for many years. As many of you may know, sometimes the lack of protein in one’s diet can leave them borderline anemic and, occasionally, a bit delirious. After a festival show featuring APC and the The Smashing Pumpkins, Paz, in a state of “meat deprivation,” followed a “bald man named Billy” onto the wrong bus and we haven’t seen her since. Milk carton photos have, so far, been ineffective. Any help would be appreciated.
Regarding the “New Guy” on bass-
Jeordie White, otherwise known as “Twiggy,” (formerly of “Marilyn Manson,”) has replaced Paz as the new APC bass player. Jeordie, in between jobs, answered a classified ad in the "Music Connection” which read… “Established band seeks professional, experienced bass player. Must have a van and must resemble Don Knotts. Long hair a plus.” The rest is history. Congratulations, Jeordie. This is the biggest mistake you have ever or will ever make.
Regarding the abduction of the one currently known as “Troy VanLeeuwen,” and occasionally known as “Toby or Todd Lewin,”-
Reports have come in stating Troy has been seen hanging around with Craig Kilbourn. Other sources say Troy has been abducted by a hostile yet stable group of extraterrestrials posing as a band of Gypsy crack whores. Lucky for us, we have “fitted” Troy with a self-destruct mechanism for just such an occasion. If any of these “aliens” attempt what we in the biz refer to as a “Greek Wedding”… KABOOOM! Good luck, Troy. Come back often.
Regarding the “New Guy” on guitar-
Renholder. Figure it out. This multi-talented individual (who suffers from an extremely rare form of social tourette's) wears many hats; all of which he hangs on the wall next to his soiled futon. Impersonator of circus gorillas, moon walker, psychic medium to the stars, serial/cereal coupon hoarder, owner of the most extensive collection of “COPS” episodes on this planet, coined the term, “Tijuana boob job,” as well as aficionado of all things “boob job.” These are just a few of his many, many talents.
Regarding the “New Album Title”-
We are currently in litigation with The Offspring over this. More info on this subject will be posted as it becomes available.
love, apc
