You might be a month late, comrade. According to Julia Costenla, historian and personal friend of Celia de La Serna (Che's mother), he was actually born on May 14th. The date of birth was forged to avoid scandal (Celia had become pregnant before marriage).

Jon Lee Anderson accepts the forgery and as far as I can tell from the Spanish Wikipedia article about Che, Celia de La Serna has also confessed that she was pregnant at the time of marriage.

May 14th, comrade... :lol:
