Police especially in north london in my opinion are some of the worst in all of london, there are so many incidents in places like Tottenham and Enfield where people are simply taken in and beaten - taken into the back of police vans, to police stations and all the rest of it. They are ****s all of them.

This torturing story does not surprise me all that much unfortunately, one of the most prolific misuses of the new tasers in the UK was not-so-coincidentally done by Tottenham police: http://www.truthnews.us/?p=1317.

It is examining the conduct of six officers connected to drug raids in November in which four men and a woman were arrested at addresses in Enfield and Tottenham. Police said they found a large amount of cannabis and the suspects were charged with importation of a Class C drug.
Wow, and therefore they played CIA? Well, what to say, just simply your friendly police department. :)

Surely it will come out that the police obatained the information about this importation through torture and they won't be able to prosecute them. Fuck the fascist police.

I don't like the police, but waterboarding is shocking even for them.

Thing that really shocked me about my own experience with police is how they are the ones out looking for trouble more than the criminals. I can remember numerous times out on student nights in Derby, and having police coming over and having a right old attitude for no reason. You could just sence that the moment you breathed the wrong way, they would pounce on you. Fortuanely, me and my flatmates knew better.

Im not saying that all police are like this, but I can definitly see problems with paying people to have authority and keep things in check. I always remember my mate getting taken away into a stourage room in a nightclub by a bouncer and getting given a full-on beating (i didnt see it to be fair, but my mate was black and blue afterwards). I will admit that he was rowdy when drunk, but for that kind of punishment, you would have thought he had tried to kill the bouncer of something.

I see alot of people defend the police to the max (including excessive force and even torture, stating that they are honarable servants of society and deal with trash (like us;)) to keep the streets safe.

Problem is that they should be making feel safe, not intimidated.
