I am much too old to have noticed U2 except for mild irritation at their posturing and disgust at accounts of their bigtime property ownership of Dublin hotels but, hey, isn't actually being photographed amiably in the company of the Commander-in Chief of the forces of Thanatos egregious even by the shameless standards of the rich hypocrites of 'rock'?

Or, is there any case for recordings of these luxury-hotel-owning tossers playing their stuff?

I like U2, and they've done a lot for peace, at least as much as a band CAN do, I wouldn't be so quick to judge on the basis of one photograph, you don't know what his personal views are; it's not like he's a close friend or something.
