You are both totally incorrect. Sorry. The person with the best voice on the planet is Mike Patton. Get with the program, morons.

I actually liked Axl's singing. I've heard some of his new shit live, and he sucks nuts - can't do it like old times.

Dude, Johnny Cash is fucking amazing. He's the only country I like.

My favorites?

Robert Plant (of Zeppelin)
The dude from Bad Religion
Freddy Mercury (of Queen)
Chris Cornell (I don't like Audioslave, but he's a fucking good singer)
Marvin Gaye
Jimmy Cliff
.....more as they come to me

Bob Dylan and Kurt Cobain are pretty shit singers, but their music still kicks ass.

Mike Patton is a terrible, terrible person. When I read about the things he did to that 12 year old, I felt so sick. I couldn't eat for hours. I find it hard to understand ehow you twisted people can actually support an individual this sick. It's not only his obsessions that haunt me, it's his hair. I can safely say that he has the shittiest haircut in creation. He's boring too! And an all round bad guy! Yeah! Piece of shit! Goddamnit! I'm going to kill that lousy son of a *****! I'm track him down and gut him with a rusty screwdriver! I hate that guy. Lousy bastard.

Rastafari

I can probably guess what he did, so I won't ask.
As for lead singers, I can name a lot.
Bradley Nowell
Bob Marley
Peter Tosh
Stephen Stills
Neil Young
Eric Clapton
Jim Morrison
Jimmy Hendrix
and the list goes on, seen

Sometimes, they're the only people worth listening to.

Liam Gallager sounds like a dying cat. Maynard James Keenan and Serj Tankian have the best voices in rock today. Oh, and Anger, I agree that Zach is the best lyricist and probably has the best stage prescence in the fucking universe, but he can't sing. If you down believe me, check out his first band. Their name is Inside Out, the album is No Spiritual Surrender. I'm glad he decided to rap instead.
