Anti flag are a great band. They are all leftists and are really great. If you are punk or leftist or leftist and punk, u will like them. You probabbly have already heard of tjem, though. Some of their great songs: 911 for peace, Die for your government, Sars and Stripes. Just a recemmendation but I know u guys will like them.

Anti-Flag is alright, actually I have their shirt on right now from like a year ago. *Has no clean clothes*
I never really listen to punk for it's political message though.

Feoric, i actually have that patch somewhere around here.. Anti-Flag is a great punk band. Their music is great, and their lyrics are strong. While i don't think of anti-flag as a huge revolutionary inspiration or anything of that sort, they still give a great message and i know for sure they have opened the doors of socialism for many many people.

I heard a live anti-flag track once...they were talking about how they accidently forgot one of the members at a rest stop...then they started playing without him and sucked immensly. I think the singer has pees up his nose or something.
I own Underground Network, though. Pretty ok punk...and it's political which makes it tolerable.

Malte, you lucky bastard!
Anyway, I've watched them play Davey Destroyed The Punk Scene (on the computer), and they play it so much better live than the original.
Daaaaaaaavey destroyed the punk scene!

I love Anti-Flag....and even though "Indie sux, hardline sux, emo sux, you suck" has no political lyrics what so ever.....it's a song that makes me want to kick some ass....but a lot of their stuff just does that anyway.....Malte....lucky bastard.

I saw them at Warped Tour this past summer. They rocked and their message was good. The front man did have an annoying tendency to drop the F bomb ever other word. I have nothing against swaring, but when you are telling the crowd that Iraq has less to do with 911 then Saudi Arabi, its hard to take you seriously when you litterally sware every other word.
After a while the crowd started laughing at them for all the f bombs.

If you have a problem with constant swearing, you have a problem with almost every punk band i've ever seen live. not all, but almost all. Malte, you are lucky. even though i've seen them live, i'd like to see them again.

i recently purchased a c.d. with around 21 tracks of different bands and their music and lyrics are a 360 degree turn from anti-flag.
the cd is called "Give em the Boot III" and it ROCKS.
there is even a black and white poster of a tight looking female cat. so cool, i had to put it up on the wall for encouragement. great deal and all for less than than 6 bucks which is right around what i can almost afford.

Propagandhi & Anti-Flag fuckin rule! Propagandhi are one of the most politicly influential punk bands of our time. Gay-Postive, Animal-Friendly, Pro-Femminist, Anti-Fascist. Hope they tour Australia some time soon.
