So i just saw the bio of hendrix on TV..man his life sucked, when he was found overdosing the people spent 3 hours cleaning the drugs out of the apartment while he lay there dieing before they called a ambulance, when he was a kid his family was so poor they had no electricity and he only owed 2 pairs of clothes also when he became famous his manager took all of his money and fled to the bahamas, at one point he only had $20 in his bank account :crying:

Mitch Mitchel is a better drummer than Hendrix is a guitarist. just sayin...

He's a great drummer (although not as good as Keith Moon imo), but C'MON! Hendrix revolutionised the way we play and listen to the electric guitar and blew his contemporaries out of the water. I don't think Mitch had such an impact on other drummers.

Hendrix could be pretty sloppy at times. if you listen closely you can hear places where he's really not conforming to any structure or form, and where he'll quickly drift out of time and then come back in. I won't deny that he is one of the greatest performers of all time (it's probably either him or iggy), but strictly as a guitar player I'm not so sure.

And mitch is an absolutely crazy drummer.
