Ive got 2 electric and 1 accostic and 1 bass, and im bored so i'll name em all :)

Steve is my main electric, i've had him for about 4 years now.
1. Ibanez RG 570
2. Gray/Silverish
3. I prefer to use it for lead
4. "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"

John' my other electric, he sucks, had him for about 6 years.
1. Peavey something, begins with r too damned to remember the name :)

3. More of a rythem i think

Now bob the bass was my first bass, and i like it, no i know it's not the best in the world or something, but i do love it :) Had him for about 1 year now.

And Jackie my acoustic is my favorite guitar i have ever owned, bought 2nd hand in some shady shop for about 50$ about 7 years ago, she still remains here next to my bed, and she will probably stay with me until i die :)

I use Ernie Ball regular slinkey strings for electric and Plectrum string for my acoustic.

2 electric 1 12string semi 2 classical 1 semi six string and 3 steel string accoustics

Won't name them all but my main guitar, home, studio and gigging is a godin lgx sa...I use the synth as a splitter and the piezo as basic accoustic tones.

As for rhythm or lead, both, in and out of bands I do both.

Best thing, matter of oppinion, I play many styles so won't say.

Any one else semi-pro or pro?

Oops forgot about amps, well just mention the main one, I use a flextone 2 plus from line6, and that for most effects as well, I have others but pretty poor quality, will hopefully soon get a vox ac30, I had to get the line6 in the short term for gigs.

What styles do you all play? How many are gigging and who writes their own stuff?

I play in a band, we've got our main man who does the writing, and we all just fuck around until it sounds right, i've only got a hughes & kettner amp at home, and we occasionaly do gigs in a few clubs, they have amps there so thats no problem :)

Yeah, I'm in a shitty band...I write all the songs and play the guitar and sing. We don't play live because we suck.

I have a Peavey T-60...it is natural with a black pickguard and looks like the 70's piece of beautiful sounding shit that it is. I think it must weigh at least 30 pounds.

My amp is a Trace-Elliot Vellocete 15w 1X10 all tube class a amp...don't worry, I plug it into a 2X12 cabinet and it sounds fucking beautiful. Trace-Elliot got bought out by Gibson so if you've heard of the GoldTone, that is what the Vellocete is.

My effects are...a ProCo RAT which is pretty fucking nice, a BOSS Distortion/Overdrive which his cool for a light overdrive or an extra-heavy distortion, and a BOSS Digital Phase Shifter.

I got the guitar for Xmas a few years back and I bought the amp and the last two pedals at a going out o' business sale for 300 bucks...this stuff would retail at over 1000 bucks... Sweet deal, huh?

I play rock...from sorta modernish, onesidezero or shit they play on the radio to more moody, dynamic stuff like Pink Floyd, Dredg, or Tool...though I play almost all original music, I hate playing other people's stuff!

The best song? Well, I used to be able to play "Eruption" but I quickly forgot how! I also used to know how to play all sorts of insane Metallica solos and stuff but I'm not into that sort of thing anymore. A song I wrote called "Striving to Achieve Noble Gas Configuration" is pretty cool...and then there's the really smart-ass punk song I wrote called "I Don't Know" which has a cool harmony thing going on in it...the words go something like this...(this is one of the verses, anyway)

I said, I don't know...I can't really say but there's a lot of girls and you know that I'm not gay, SO I DON'T THINK SO...many chunka-chunkas and more chauvanist lyrics commence. (no, I'm not like that, the song is based on an asshole friend of mine).

This probably isn't the best site for advice but hell here goes...I have a line6 flextone2 plus and was wondering if anyone knows whether you can buy a wah/expression pedal and use it in conjunction with the onboard effects. Say by running it via the fx loop return? I realise there is the larger floorboard, but I am really short on cash. Or is it possible to just use a wah pedal with it because the only phase effect is 2 sorts of flange, and I need wah as well?
