This isn't an endorsement by any means, but the party which my party, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, split from has a branch in Tucson. They're Workers World Party.

Tucson, Ariz.

International Socialist Organization has a branch in Phoenix.

Phoenix, AZ

Of course, I would highly recommend looking at the Party for Socialism and Liberation. I live about six hours from a branch, but I still manage to receive loads of materials. I'd like to set up a branch in Ohio in the near future, which is coming along quite well. It's not as easy as working with established branches and such, but I think it's worth it to work with an active and efficient party.

Shit, you live 6 hours from your nearest branch? How on earth do you do political activism?

I don't need people overseeing me to sell papers, distribute pamphlets and organize protests. I also don't need the help of a branch to organize meetings and the like. I don't see how this baffles you in any way.

Wow, touchy. I was just saying it must be hard to do stuff in a socialist political party when your so isolated from your comrades. 6 hours, thats long tings.
