What do you think of Soulfly? Sepultura or Soulfly? I don't know who to choose, but I liked Soulfly better I guess. And Max is super kick ass. Ressssshhhpect!!!

the vocalist of soulfly was the vocalist of sepultura... therefore is almost impossibleto decide wich one is bether :)

yet i would choose sepultura, but not this last cd, this was the worst sepultura cd.. (the "nation"one) i havnt heard theyr new cd.. yet this lastcdhad bether lyrics...

Sepultura all the way....I remember the concert in London! Holly Shit, these guys were on stage withe Pantera and they rocked. It put Rage to shame! Mosh pits were brutial and enough dope to stone an entire country!

Sepultura are a mad band even though im not into the death metal type stuff.

They seem to have a weird thing for Brazil. Capoeira, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Vale Tudo, Brazilian tribes etc.

I like em all the same. Ratamahatta is their best song i reckon.

Sepultura is a brazilian band!
Max Cavalera (ex-vocalist) and Igor Cavalera (drums) are brothers. The band started in the state of Minas Gerais...
It growns in undergrounds shows in São Paulos e Rio de Janeiro... but brazilians dont like much this kind of sound (Heavy sound, english lyrics)... so they made more sucess when lunched theys Cds in USA and Europe.

They're fanatic for soccer (like every brazilian, including me) and went to Amazonia Forest to stay some time with Xavantes (indians). After that they released "Roots".

Max broke up 'cause his wife figth with his brother. Since that they don't talk anymore. He created Soufly and Sepultura gets a new vocalist Derek Green...

I've seen one show in Rock In Rio 3. That was very great.
