I wouldn't call it old news and its always worth mentioning places like this. The only pity is that it has so much anarchist related stuff. Then again any non anarchists I've asked about the idea of putting lectures on torrents normally turn their noses up and point at marxists.org. If I knew anything about torrents (other than downloading em ;)) I'd suggest that we did something similar here on revleft. I hate the idea of all information being stockpiled in one particular corner. I'll actually look into the feasibility of it, just out of interest.

There's also http://www.black-tracker.gr for predominantly Greek material, http://torrents.rbgi.net/ for animal liberation-related content, and http://indytorrents.org/ which is essentially a smaller version of onebigtorrent.
