i like nirvana it's my favorite band and i have heard all their stuff but their new cd is the best one it has all their best songs and david bowie's man who sold the world on it.

Nirvana is my favorite band as well however I think their new album was probably their worst. It was merely another attempt to soak some more money out of the big nirvana craze that's been going around lately. the new album has one new song on which sucks and a bunch of recycled tunes from all their other albums.

the bootlegs have and always will be the best nirvana albums imo.

it was an ok album but it was obviously only released for the purpose of money

I don't think the new cd is their best because:
1.There is only one song in their first album. Why there is no songs like Love Buzz, School or Blew?
2.Where are the other classics like Territorial Pissings, Scentless Apperentice or Breed? There is just the biggest hits like SLTS and HSB
3.Only one new song:(

I agree, it's just a nice little earner, cashing in on the people who are only just hearing this incredible music, great for parents to buy their little teenagers!

However I wouldn't know about the bootlegs, having heard none!

oh dear..... :( try to listen to the smells like teen spirit bootlegs ( I know, it sounds the exact opposite of boot leg) they have all of the unreleased stuff on it like the gothic version of teen spririt and other much cooler songs like "verse chorus verse" , "d7" , and "even in his youth" the german import singles are also great and we can't foprget the notorious outcesticide cd's which are probably the best bootlegs in existance if you like Nirvana.

If you have lots of bourgeoisie capital and you like nirvana,.........bootlegs are THE answer.

if i couldn't choose a bootleg then my favorite nirvana album might be bleach or in utero.

I've never been the big Nirvana advocate everyone makes me feel like I should be, but typically a Best Of album is usually pretty incomplete.

It is not thier best album, FUCK COURTNEY LOVE! If a box set doesn't come out, and the other released songs aswell, we have been denied we Nirvana deserved.
