So, back when Israel was massacring Gaza (....moreso than usual), I went to a bunch of protests and demos against it, and they went pretty well. But the thing that bothers me is, these protests were organized by a group called Seacoast Peace Response, and their ideology is pacifism. So I realized that these protests were calling for an end to the violence from BOTH sides of the conflict and placing blame on both sides for the violence. This alienated some people from protests who were holding up signs that said things that were thought of as "too radical". So, do you guys think these neutral hippy pacifist protests are worth attending? (note: I don't have any actual radical groups around me)

I don't think that hippy pacifist protests are that much less worthwhile than ones which back one murderous bourgeois faction against another. They probably seem a lot less crazy to non-politico passersby.

This sort of thing?:

I think this is fine. But pacificism in general is not, if they have any illusion that the state of Israel will go of it's own accord or peacefully, they're very wrong.

That is what they are saying. The demo's I attended were calling for an end to violence from both sides, acting as if they were both somehow both at fault for the massacre. They actually advertised themselves as "not advocating for either side but advocating for peace".
But at the same time, it was calling for an end to the massacre against Gaza. Which is why I'm kind of stuck as to whether I should attend these things or not, due to lack of available options.
just go with a sign reading "STOP ISREAL!" :)

you should:
1. good recon
2. find pissed off leftists and band together
3. kills an afternoon
4. allows positive networking with the protest

Again, to me, calling for an end to violence from both sides is no worse than actively supporting the violence carried out by the ruling class of one national group against the working class on both sides. I've turned up at protests which were dominated by shitty Palestinian nationalist politics to promote an internationalist perspective, why can you not just turn up at a pacifist-dominated protest with communist slogans?
