I've read it and I agree in part, but Bookchin's dismissal of Paul Goodman based on a single quote raised questions about his treatment of his other ideological opponents. It's notable that Bookchin ended by repudiating anarchism altogether in his last collection of essays Social Ecology and Communalism.
As for Goodman, he was solidly in the tradition of Kropotkin. People or Personnel is basically a re-statement of the principles articulated in Fields, Factories and Workshops. Communitas, Compulsory Miseducation, The Community of Scholars and Decentralizing Power are all works of social and not individual anarchism.
