I've noticed alot of right wing propaganda starting to be put up in my area in regards to the european elections, now obviously you dont want this shit floating about where you live so what would you do in this situation?

Remove it where you can, deface it where you can't! :)

Removal. If you can't find a way to remove it then do your best to destroy it (tear with a knife or something), failing that then cover it up with something else. Failing THAT, deface it.

If you deface it, people who pass are going to know that it's bollocks. So if it's a sticker, scratch it out with your keys.

Yeh thats what i was thinking, i was under the impression defacement or actually manipulating the image was pretty symbolic compared to removal as more people notice a resistance? seems pretty trivial on a larger scale but still what would you say are the best methods?
Identity correction is a nice tactic. Write what they really mean, not "lolol fuck nazis".

If you simply remove them, you might be giving them even more ammunition as they'll start crying about political tolerance. I think a more effective approach would be the practice of detournement in which you make some subtle changes to the original to subvert it's message example: http://www.flickr.com/photos/

The council should remove it for free, which is less hassle and danger, failing that, paint over it in the same colour as the wall it is on, that way, you can't legally get in much trouble because your just cleaning it up.
