Hi, I'm Martin. I've been a Communist for a few years. I read Communist Manifesto a while ago and since then I've tried to expand my knowledge through reading Marx, Engels and Lenin. I'm particularly interested in the Cuban revolution and the Spanish Civil war. I'll be attending Durham University (UK) next year to study History, and I hope to go on and become a history professor.
So that's me... Hey everyone, hope you're all good

hi welcome, have you been reading any non marxist communists?

well, I've read 'Marxism, Freedom and the State' by Bakunin but I think I've mostly stuck to marx/engels/lenin. I've got some Trotsky I've been meaning to read, and I've set myself the task of reading all three volumes of 'Capital' over summer.
What would you recommend reading? I would certainly be interested in more Anarchist literature.

i know everyone says it but

ABC of Anarchism - Alexander Berkman
The Conquest of Bread - Peter Kropotkin

are really good and give a good basic idea of anarchist theory :)
