A lively anti fascist demo took place outside
A few of the anti fascist protesters started blocking the entrance to the venue asking people not to enter.
At approx 7pm a few fine examples of the master race (aka the BNP) tried to get into the building at which point the door blockers numbers were swelled by anti fascists of various political hues (mainly anarchists, but also socialists and greens) and 3 lines of people were formed to prevent the BNP from entering.
The BNP thugs unsuccessfully tried to force their way in, then appealed to the cops to do their dirty work, then ended up hiding behind appeals to democracy and their right to free speech.
This was shown up in comic fashion when Roly-poly-goaty-beardy-fascist, responded to a door blocker's shout of the only good Nazi is a dead one! with a pitiful whine to the cops of he's threatening to kill me before a response from another door blocker pointing out that the moron had just publicly outed himself as a Nazi wiped the smile of face.
A stand off ensued for approx an hour and a half before Bath police forcefully removed the door blockers and escorted the Nazis into the, virtually empty, building.
