Hardcore, extremely yes. Punk, yes, bits of it.

They're cool, but check out Refused (T(I)NC vocalist's old band). They're a million times better.

Only old school and hardcore (with some exceptions). If you count oi, then definitely also. I don't know all that many oi bands but the ones I do know (Decibelios, Sham 69, Oi Polloi, Red Alert, etc.), I like better than most punk bands.

Some of it. I prefer the American stuff though. What bands are you talking about specifically??

Umm lots of different bands... from stuff like Ebola and Riot/Clone to the more umm metally type of bands like Canaan and Stampin Ground. Just anything that could be said to be UKHC really...

Refused is still together, right? Isn't it just like a Tool/Perfect Circle situation?

I'm not a real fan of those kinda bands. Stampin' Ground are OK and xCanaanx have their moments though. I like some of the UK scene, bands like SikTh (more noisecore but still), Eden Maine and Murder One. I recommend you check out some of the American bands like Poison the Well, The Hope Conspiracy, From Autumn to Ashes and this amazing Danish band called Lack.

Nope. They split after the release of The Shape of Punk to Come in 1998. Lyxen (vocals) formed T(I)NC, and the rest have yet to do anything. Watch out for a Refused documentary the ex-guitarist is making though...

I prefer Oi! to the "punk" punk bands (as in punk influenced music as opposed to music specifically for punks). I like old school hardcore like Iron Cross, Minor Threat, Negative Approach, etc. but I'm not really into the new metally stuff that much.

My turn. :)

Go here to discuss hardcore with people much more learned than myself:

http://ubb.kerrang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb....15&DaysPrune=30 (http://ubb.kerrang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum&f=15&DaysPrune=30)

My username is "degenerate".

Also, if you wanna download copious amounts of hardcore, download the programme from here:

Thank you for your time. :)

BTW - you seeing The Hope Conspiracy in February?? They're playing in London...

I like the levellers, hundred reasons, A, Idlewild, Spunge, snuff, the wild hearts and all that sort of stuff.

I also like the Punk pop scene such as greenday and Blink182. Ive seen Greenday and all of the above live (except Blink) and they are amazing.
