21st Century Kropotkinist
25th May 2009, 05:44
I've already started posting but I suppose I should do some kind of a rough intro:
-\I'm here to learn from others
-I'm here to have dialogue with those who I agree/disagree with
-I'm a social-anarchist (if ya couldn't piece that together!)
-I'm interested in anti-authoritarian politics and action (not only exclusively anarchism)
-Social ecology seems like the only logical lens with which to view climate change
-I am, in every sense of the word, a libertarian-socialist
-I believe in class struggle, and I believe you can do this without being dogmatic
-I also believe Bookchin was right: capitalism doesn't inherently pit proletariat against the bourgeoisie
-I'm no Marxist, but think there's certainly something to dialectical materialism, i.e., the world isn't stagnant and history's never over
-I think we should form anti-authoritarian organizations and wish there was a Left in the U.S.
-I think dual power, i.e., trying to build viable options to the state, is not counter-revolutionary
-I view anarchism as a synonym for communism, i.e., classless, stateless, and moneyless societies.
-I'm all for individuality and not individualism.
Hope this expains things. Look forward to CONSTRUCTIVE dialogue.
