Yo... I'm new here, politically, I cluster with an anarchist philosophy.

I specifically like Participatory Economics. Though I am interested in economics, i mostly like to discuss race, specifically, whiteness studies. Though I do identify with leftists, I do get annoyed at a lot of their positions on people like Che, Chavez, etc, because they're often lacking any objectivity at all.

W.r.t. religion, I'm strictly atheist. No gods - no masters :D

Other than that, as hobbies I like running, competitively, that is, for my school.

I look forward to the discussion here. :)

Hi everyone. Whiteness studies, as described by wikipedia, is "an interdisciplinary arena of academic inquiry focused on the cultural, historical and sociological aspects of people identified as white, and the social construction of whiteness as an ideology tied to social status." There is a wikipedia article on it, but I can't provide links yet it seems.

You can find academic sources on it, the most prestigious universities are providing courses on whiteness studies and beginning to unravel white privilege. It attempts to pursue an understanding of white "culture," white privilege, and the construction and continuing persistence of racial hegemonies.

Here is a good introductory link (remove spaces):
