Better than the best, harder than the rest! One of the best choices for the leftist who likes a good beat, KMFDM has been in the scene for 25 years now, laying the foundations for mayor artists like Rammstein, Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails. Although these are well known artists, KMFDM has always stayed true to the underground, they are very close to their community.

The lyrics consists of resisting the mass media pop culture, mass consumption and tyranny.

They brought out two albums recently, both were recorded with the help of Tim Skold, who left Marilyn Manson a year ago (although he was member of KMFDM before)

Check it out, this is the new shit:

If you like it, remember they are touring this year in the US and in Europe. For only a small price you'll have a fantastic experience

KMFDM are one of my favourite bands. All of their albums are different musically and you can hear their influence all over the place - especially in industrial music and dark techno. Well worth a listen.

I heard of this band before and I wanna get into it, which albums should I try?
I like other industrial bands like NIN, Skinny Puppy and Throbbing Gristle btw.

That totally depends, what your preferences are. I like WWIII, Tohuvabohu and Adios!. A lots of people like XTORT and Symbols aswell. If you are into NIN I would start with WWIII however.

I know it's very cliche-music-snob of me, but I like their early stuff.
I think Money and Naive are their best albums. 'Sex on the Flag' is a great song.

Oh yeah, they were also the only band I ever saw live. Pretty awesome, they played most of the classics, although I think I damaged my ears from getting too close to the speakers.

I saw them like 4 years ago. Fuckin' ace. Lots of goths, hehe.

I really dig WWIII and Nihil, amongst others.

Good industrial metal, more industrial version of Ministry if you like them.

KMFDM fell the fuck off. Everything after Symbols is bullshit.

I don't think so. Symbols was definitely their best album and nothing will ever compare to that but I think they're still making good music.
