Film about mine workers Union in the 1800's

I have been searching all over to find the name of this film but I cannot find it anywhere. It was a really good progressive film in my opinion. From what I remember it was about these men who formed a mine workers union and were eventually sentenced to imprisonment in Australia. Has anyone seen it and do they know the name of it?

Almost definitely. That is it, it's called Comrades. Brilliant film.
