Bob Marley was killed by the CIA - The CIA killed him!

Everybody knows about Bob Marley and he has tons of "rasta" fans around the world. Also every fan knows that he died of cancer that was found in his toe or foot.
The story goes like this......
Elections were coming up in Jamica and Bob was getting along with some lefty or something. So he wanted to do a free concert in favor of the lefty's go political party. Well he did and then the CIA go in to Marley's house and there was a shooting and shit. When Bob Marley went on tour the CIA sent some agent to follow him. The agent told Bob that if he went back to Jamaica he would die. Well Bob went back and one day he was haging wih his friends when I guy came up and told Bob to try on some boots but inside the boots were some things that were sahrp and something on then and when Bob putem on he got infected and stuf and then later on died in 1981.
I don't know if this is true I saw it on TV but who knows.

apparentely 4 years later a CIA chief was talking on TV and somebody asked "How would you go about killing someone you saw as a threat?" his answer was "Give them a pair of boots to try on, these boots would have a syringe at one end though and within a few years they would be dead". One of Marley's friends saw that interview and knew from that who had killed Bob.

It's bullshit.

It wasn't the CIA who went to his house it was political gangs, who worked for the opposition party. They were very possibly CIA backed, but they wanted to get rid of Bob because he was doing this Socialist party sponsered concert, and the right wing party couldn't have that.

He broke his toe many years before any of that happened. i think it's wishful thinking conspiracy bullshit.

Bob was shot in the arm? Chest? I don't remember, but a few days later he went in concert anyway. It was cool, he was on stage and showed everyone the scar and kept playing. Amazing guy.

He broke and cut his toe while playing soccer with a bunch of guys. I think he was barefeet or sandals. A few years later he found out he had cancer.

I guess it's possible that it was a conspiracy, but I don't know.

This is true. Also canikickit you are right but the shooting was very but very orginized and Comrade Junchi you are right but he tried the boots but this happened before the soccer thing.

It was his big toe. The nail fell off it when he was injured during a soccer match with journalists in the late seventies or 1980, I forget the exact date. That's when the cancer was discovered, because he was being treated for the weird toe problem and infection.

I doubt there is any reliable way to give a person cancer in his toe, if there was they'd probably use it more.

I've heard about these theories aswell. So many Black leaders have been killed, so why not Bob Marley? Are you 100% sure someone tried to shoot him? Then there's a big possibility he actually was killed. Then again, you would think there's people who should know... like his family. What are they saying?

Well, he actually died from skin cancer, but it all related back to the toe.

Bob Marley was unique in that what he sang about was a time that has yet to come and is sure to come. why would the CIA be out to get him for that?

On my way home from San Diego the other day I heard the best Bob Marley song ever! Wish I knew what the title was...something like the day of Apostasy finally arrives. Very cool song!

I think that the CIA killed black leaders because they saw them as a threat. I did not Che was killed by the CIA.
