Attached (I think) is a flow chart of the lineage of some Trotskyist parties that I recently put together. I'm hoping people here might be able to correct and expand certain branches.
Note that this is centered on American, Trotskyist parties. I'd very much like to expand this to include as many parties and tendencies as possible but I need help!
Any other charts like this that you know of?

Bam: http://www.marxists.org/history/etol/trees/ustree.htm. This is the most complete one that I know of. The guy who made these also had similar trees for the Maoist movement and "social democratic" (for lack of a better term) movement, but unfortunately those don't seem to be on the internets anymore.
I'd be really interested to see a UK tree as well.

This is the one I was thinking of when I first read this post, but I couldn't find it. That one has almost all of them - if you use that as a framework, you could probably get a flowchart of all but the most marginal groups.

Yeah. Back when I had access to all three flowcharts, I tried connecting them together. Lot of links back to the CPUSA and SPA. I think if it could be done on a semi-interactive level (like with Flash or something) it would be easier to handle, but I don't have the expertise to do that, unfortunately.
EDIT: I found the Maoist/"New Communist Movement" chart too. Now I just need to see if I can find the third one: http://antiauthoritarian.net/NLN/images/denton_ncmchart.jpg

Awesome! This is exactly the type of thing I was looking for and I totally agree about making it interactive: it would be great to click through it to have access to various party documents, histories, etc.
Thanks

The current list of left-wing parties in the US (http://eng.anarchopedia.org/List_of_Left-Wing_Parties_in_the_United_States) might be of some help.
The two charts offered are far from complete, not only are they just about the USA (a very small part of the Trotskyist movement), it's also just mentioning names that are completely meaningless to outsiders. I do think it would help to start a research project around this to have a greater overview of our history, on what themes we splitted, when, how many members there were involved, etc. It would help to understand our movement better, to see our history, our errors, how we can prevent them in the future and... perhaps... work towards reunification.

What I meant is something like this (http://uniat5401.ag5.mpi-sb.mpg.de:8180/view.html?entity=Albert_Einstein&n=5) (java required) or this (http://liveplasma.com/). But I want it to provide more info (if only links) when you click on a word and I'm not quite sure if this is even technically feasible right now.
What I am contemplating right now is using a wiki for such a project. But maintaining a wiki alone pretty much defeats the purpose of a wiki, so I'm awaiting feedback on these ideas.
