The annoying thing is, i'm finding it difficult to laugh at BNP gaffs at the moment because they're going to do really well in the euro elections.

I'm not depressed that the BNP are going to do well, I'm excited about the public finding out what they really are and what they stand for, it's bound to happen sooner or later. Imagine if tomorrow we all found out that Gordon Brown was a closet Nazi, he'd lose his job. Up until fairly recenlty, in my part of the North West, they were hardly heard of. Now they're starting to creep in. This is a mostly Labour supporting area, though, and I don't see the BNP making too much progress around here for some time, thankfully.

We live nearish each other, and where I'm from used to be the same, but the BNP are steadily eroding away Labour support in alot of working class areas.

This is the underlying problem. If, when the **** took over the BNP in 1999, he was ignored by the media, just like any other tiny party is, he wouldn't have been able to get his "message" out to anyone, and would still be sat in a pub surrounded by a bunch of skinhead neo nazis praising Hitler in a dark corner of the room.

Check out the National Front, the BPP, the BFP, all the other tiny organisations- the BNP was once one of those tiny organisations. The other groups haven't grown in size as they recieve no media coverage. Some think the BNP has changed its message and that's why they get more votes. To those ****s I say what exactly have they changed? They still only allow whites in, they still want to stop all immigration, and anyone who thinks this "voluntary" repatriation would be voluntary has their head up their arse. We already have voluntary repatriation: it's called an airport, where anyone can go and buy a ticket back to their, erm "homeland".

The more the media go on about the BNP threat, the more a threat the BNP become. A self fufilling prophecy.

You'd have thought so, but its amazing how quickly Labour voters can switch. The newspapers generally say BNP support comes from former Labour voters. Keep up constant vigiliance against the fascists. No pasaran!

As to the broadcast itself, I don't know whether it will gain them more votes or not. Any racists who were not aware they were standing for election will now probably vote for them. The rest of the broadcast was about some alleged "achievements" of BNP councilors. It was an appeal to the working class (that guy after Griffin's first speech was clearly filmed on a working class estate) though I don't know how many will swallow the bait. They got a fucking good time for their broadcast though- right after the News at 10 on both ITV and the BBC- so will have probably got more viewers than if they had, say, a 6 o clock slot, where people will be making tea and maybe still driving home from work.
