Why placebo rock!!! - I hate shitty bands such as RATM

I don't really like them anymore, a mix of things, but they were good for me once. I met Molko once, many moons ago, and he was a tosser, and thats all i'll say on the subject.

i used to love placebo, i had a boyfriend who vageuly resembled molko, and for my frist xams pressie he gave me a years membership to the fan club, which was really nice of him.

i read the newsletter things, the letters made very entertaining reading and started to put me off placebo.the fans in the fan club all appear to be totally 2D characters, if you get me. placebo are pretty poretentious, but theri fans are worse. i have all three albums, and they aren't bad, recently i got back in the first one, but they are far from brilliant, although they are individual.

Placebo are ok, they're all pretty hot, pity that Stefan's gay. I prefer Steve lookswise to the old drummer but as far as quality goes they're pretty similar in my eyes (or should I say ears!).

With the idea of lyrics losing meaning well have you listened to Maria or Testify or even Guerilla radio? RATM stayed true till the end. Placebo don't motivate me and their sound sucks. RATM are better than the manics, they sold out after a while, RATM just split up. I think the best poltical band is Anti-Flag, but that's only in my limited experience.

Placebo could be awesome but they're really disappointing, you get to a certain stage and it gets boring, it all seems so self-centred. I think I like the first one best because it shows so much potential, whereas the others are just filled with pathetic pop songs.

And Danton has awesome taste.

And no one can beat the Clash, not even King Prawn, but bmaybe Ani Difranco can, she beats everyone!
