Capitalism sucks
that's already a common saying among us
but when talking about music they really suck
i mean they killed everything which rock'n'roll stood for
freedom high hopes
spirituality
dreams
everything
threw us in their damn money bags
not everything can be bought
long live rock'n'roll

Indeed comrade,
long live rock 'n roll. The spirits of the Doors, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple will never die!!!

Right on Ravengod,

Yeah, some people say rock is dead, but it's not. The youthful exuberance and patent optimism of the 60's is gone, which is why the questions and spirit of that time's music is too much for people right now.

I guess I understand. I mean, how are people supposed to react after all when music isn't about getting laid, being a gangster or being cool?

Tits and ass...that's today's spirituality. Fuck does today's music suck ass. The recording industry blames a drop in music sales on pirating...well, there is that too.

Is this a philosophical debate or a literal debate? :)

Zippy,

First time I've ever had to ask you this, but, what do you mean?

i mean they killed everything which rock'n'roll stood for
freedom high hopes
spirituality
dreams
I have my freedom, i have my hopes, i have my dreams, and i have my spirituality. Yet rock n roll has been killed?

Plus, what is rock n roll? Rebellion? Maybe. Peace, love and harmony? Maybe. Loud music? Not all the time.

So ... is this philosophical or literal? :)
