I agree, Rage is one of my favorite bands. But I think many people think that if you listen to Rage and are a communist then your a fake or something. I don't see what's wrong about listening to RATM.

The thing that turns me off to Rage Against the Machine is that they're exclusively political- i.e. they are completely humorless and make no attempt to do anything not revolving around politics.

Bob Marley accomplished way more politically (he united Jamaica!) and he still had love songs and stuff like that. You don't need to be serious 24/7 to have an impact on politics. Same with U2.
