Dear comrades,
Who here plays cybernations, more specifically who is in The International alliance?

A lot of people on here have played CN, but it's too repetitive to be played on a long-term basis.

I am playing it for almost 900 days now :D

I just applied for The International, but since there is a war raging against NPO I wonder if they will let me join atm...
Yeah, I play. Member of The International. Q's also a member.

I've played for a long time, but I have a shit nation now. I'm in RAD. Hopefully, once this war is through, they'll have the guts to reform \m/.

The International (http://theinternational-cn.com/) is the largest of the leftist alliances, though there's also some smaller ones. I've got Cattle & Marble.

Lies. It's repetitive if you remain inactive in your alliance and just collect taxes everyday.

yeah, im in the International, Joined 31 days ago. my nation is still pretty weak though. and, ive been a bit inactive on the forums due to me being on here trying learn more about left wing ideology, which i have to say, after about 2-3 weeks, i have learned A LOT!
my nation is DDR 2
i didnt participate in the war because i couldnt afford combat. im just trying to make my inflated NS more reasonable.

I used to play. Held a Military Command position in the New Pacific Order. I left and joined Vox Populi, pissed them off really good. My nation just expired a couple weeks ago after 800 or so days. What's going on over there? The only way I will go back is if the NPO is about to be destroyed.

There's a major war, and the NPO are losing it.

Pacifica have lost over 12m NS in the past two weeks. They're no longer the biggest alliance in the game anymore. Sparta have overtaken them. IRON have also gone to shit, losing about as much NS as NPO.

Sweet, now Sparta are oppressing everyone and making the game boring.
Still, remembering the first GW (bloody GRL), as of now the permanent demise of the NPO's number 1 spot is greatly exaggerated. Anyways, I'm a former member of the ICP, AC/DC (left when it turned into BDC) and the NPO, my nation is currently nonexistent due to inactivity. Also, one would hardly believe that the Boiler Room used to have some interesting threads.

I joined right around the initial NPO-FAN conflict. Half of the NPO won't even talk to me anymore, even out of character.

How are Sparta oppressing everyone?

As I said, the game is only boring if all you do is collect everyday. If you actually get involved in the politics of alliances and Bob, it's far more interesting.

I was forced to enter an alliance with my nation a half year ago after another nation in the NPO kept attacking me. Now I just collect money and build.

How so? I don't think anyone is being "oppressive" or "making the game boring", not even the NPO before this war. Life's what you make it. However, I do think that the defeat of the NPO will change the way politics is done, both between alliances and in regards to "eternal ZI".
I'm in this because my alliance is, and they're cool people, and it only makes sense that old systems are abolished eventually. But it's not some kind of heroic freedom fight, people who feel that way about the NPO should grow up.

See, I'm former NPO (until my account expired sometime late last year). I was not being serious.

This is very true. Heh, alliance politics back in ACDC provided great entertainment, especially when in its last days. Of course, OWF was crap after FAN trolls and Voxers pretty much made it repetitive as fuck. Well, more crap.
Anyways, yeah, I had been pro-NPO from my time in the ICP and ACDC. Both alliances were mostly anti-NPO, and I was probably the only pro-NPO member of ACDC.
However, I do think that the defeat of the NPO will change the way politics is done, both between alliances and in regards to "eternal ZI".
Enforcing permaZI is too much fun for people to ever sacrifice it, IMO. And I would say that knocking the NPO out so that they can't just pull a GWI would take quite a lot of effort, especially if they get their shit together with their allies and stop messing up staggers (which was a problem with SkyNet, though it was fairly irrelevant there).

Oh hey, a CN thread. I've been in that game for about three years now, currently in the Internationale. It's lovely to watch the NPO burn.

I did play CN back with the ICP/SWF/SECOM and quit a year or so back. I just rejoined the game and am waiting to get in the International because I heard NPO was getting pummled and they are. :)

Cybernations is a virtual community where you run your own nation the way you want to run it. It's essentially a simulator. You can build a nation, go to war, trade, etc. Your actions effect your nation somewhat.

Whatever happened to the Socialistic Empire? I was a member a long time ago, but I don't recall any significant problems with it that would have led to it's decline.

It merged with the Communist Party of CyberNations and The Righteous Fist to form the International.
(a united left on Planet Bob? wut?)
Elections start soon in The International (http://cpcn.ipbfree.com/) and I will run as General Commissar

Of course we all know elections at the international are fraudulent. As a puppet alliance of the LSF, TiNT elects whoever the DC tells them to elect.
