Should I be worried for using this website openly and without proxies on my home computer? i avoid pretty much anything else besides party websites and info links. I didnt join for a while because i thought i would be put on a watch list or something(guess you could say reading 1984 a few times can make you think that haha).

my main motive was to just get the feel of a community on the left, and to learn. i post here and there and give my opinions sometimes, but im not actually inciting violence everywhere.

i know this sounds paranoid:blushing:, but, this isnt really the friendliest of sites to those who rule this world :laugh: this being a Revolutionary site and all just gets me a bit worried.

I have not heard of anyone being harassed or anything due to membership in this forum. There might be a watch list, but I wouldn't worry. At my uni, Monash, all office bearers of the student association are put on a watch list with ASIO, but no one has been harassed about it.

You have a right to speak your mind, but as you said, you're not into inciting violence or anything, and that's a good start. Intellectual discussion is just that, discussion. I've been involved in more controversial discussions and written more controversial essays in my bioethics subjects than what you can find here, but it's not a problem and I'm not paranoid.

No, you shouldn't be worried about the gov't knowing your political views, in fact, you should make that clear.....no revolution can be secret.
