Overdose

First off, Illmatic was a masterpiece. Every single song on there was near perfect, and to those who don't think that is, you have to be around the time when it happened. It revolutionized hip hop, because at the time nothing like that was out. So Illmatic was a classic album, but then many many many people considered him to fall off to an extreme after releasing It Was Written, which I think was still a good album, but no where near as good as Illmatic. Each album after Illmatic begun to show that Nas was falling off, and heading the wrong way, and it was finally confirmed with his worst album, Nastradamus. After releasing Stillmatic though, I thought that he would make a comeback, because that was the best I had heard from him in a bit, but after hearing that he had signed with Murder Inc. and now after seeing his latest video with Ja Rule and Ashanti called "The Pledge" I'm extremely dissapointed.
What do you guys think of him? He has great lyrical talent, but signing with Murder Inc. was NOT a good idea. I don't think he's a sellout, although I think hes heading towards it. A good definition of a sellout is what someone said on another message board.
"the sellout is like the housse niggger whipping his fellow slaves and kissing the master's ass cuz it provide him a better living"
