I was thinking about joining the forum, but i figured the stigma surrounding me from this site would mean i wasn't likely to be particuarly welcomed.

Then i tried making an account but failed and it stopped me from making a new one because i tried so many times.

Obviously i don't want the modship role, because frankly i'd be crap at it and i doubt i would be wanted for it anyway. I would be interested in learning a bit more about technocracy though.

Presently i'm not involved with the 'IRL' struggle for extenuating reasons beyond my control - financial circumstances forcing me to move back home, away from a sphere of political activity, getting hitched, being stuck in a shitty job (damn my working-class-ness), etc and a whole load of reasons that i dont have to justify myself with to you.

I've considered joining the IRSP, which is one of the only prominent leftist parties in the north of ireland but a comrade who i won't name convinced me this was a bad idea.

FYI, i was massively actively between 2000 to 03, i attended Genoa 01, All of the major anti war rallies in London and was active against Griffins attempt to take the Oldham constituency during that time period.

All in all, i think i've done my part, i like to think of myself as one of the 'put your feet up with a pipe and pair of slippers' arm of leftist politics.
