i thought music was a beautiful collection of sounds set in an order to make it more beautiful. tell me, honestly, how beautiful sound can have a political agenda?

the music itself cannot have "leftist" sound it´s the lyrics that make it leftist, listen to rage and manic street preachers f.ex..

when they say things about the goverment that ppl really dislike, and you can hear and feel the hate that comes from that music, when the hate fill your vains, its all sooooooooooooo beutiful.

Music has words. those words hold meaning. when the words, along with the music, has a leftist message, it is leftist music. quite simple.

the ones that are poenly up for the fame and money are rightist, the others are shitty sit-on-the-fence social democrats I reckon, the ideas or whatever, but too weak to do anything.

Sounds quite "leftist" to me.

Music has been used for propoganda for years.

Witness the 1812 overture or anything by Rachmaninov. The Nazi's loved Wagner, who was a nasty little piece of work who wrote absolutley beautiful music.

There are now artists like Ani Difranco, Billy Bragg and Ginger Tom on the left. There are gay bands, fascist skin-head bands, and many others.

It's all propoganda of one type or another - and some of it's good music, too!

Music from the right are the ones that just do It for money and that's like 99% of artist right now.
