I personally like C&C3 , particularly the expansion; Kane's Wrath.

It has 9 unique factions to sink your teeth into :).

Each faction specializes in a type of combat to further develop your skill specialties.

I hate CnC3 online. Especially people who play as scrin.

That thing they do using the mastermind-capture-a-building-and directly teleport a mothership over your base-by way of building a transmitter next to your fucking construction yard is the most annoying command and conquer loophole since the GLA scud storm glitch.

I LOVED Age of Empires as a kid, especially AOE 2: The Age of Kings (and the expansion, with the Aztecs and Maya).

My favorite civilization was probably the Teutons...I was invincible if I had a bunch of Paladins and a column of elite Teutonic Knights in tow.

I also played Empire Earth and Starcraft occasionally. And a game called Myth, a looooooong ass time ago.

I don't like the gamespy service. Yeah , Scrin have some of the best support abilities in the game like being able to summon a mothership instantly. But don't let him tech up that far. That is a tier 4 ability. That strategy has been countered many times and is rarely used anymore though.

Yea i play(ed) age of empire 1 and 2, settlers 2, war craft 3 and hearts of iron. But lately its been more tbs not much rts. Rts has become to much of a click fest. Its should not be about who has the fastest reaction, best preplaned rutine and whos fastest with hotkeys. Its should be about strategy, making desicions on the base of how the situation is.

The only two I've tried (and currently play) are Spore (during tribal, civ, and space stage), and World In Conflict: Soviet Assault.

Both kick ass.
