I am a 17 year old boy from New Jersey with growing intellect and thirst for knowledge.

I have always been a deep thinker, someone who sympathizes with the poor and goes against any kind of cruelty toward a living creature.

My political stance on all matters are still shaping, as I read more and become smarter my opinions will change, but I'll express the ones I have right now.

-I believe in a Democratic system in which all have the right to speak no matter how insignificant their job is.
-I believe in an economic system which gives aid the poor, free medical assistance and shelter to the homeless.
-I believe that all people are equal and should be treated as such, the civil liberties of any individual should be protected.
-I believe that homosexuals have the right to be married, Gay Marriage should be legalized.
-I believe in the separation of Church and State, no Government decision should be made with religious influence.
-I believe that nationalism, racism and patriotism should never be encouraged.

I have more opinions to express but at this point I'll only state these.

I expect a warm greeting from my intellectual peers.

You sir, have summed up my own feelings better than I could myself. Welcome to the forum, I hope this is the start of many fruitful discussions on this site.

Welcome. What is your stance on the capitalist system in general?

Statistically speaking Capitalism results in much more impressive results in terms of production, the problem is workers face abuse and nobody helps the needy because it serves no profiting value.

A system of economy based on profit of the few and neglect of others never brings satisfaction to everyone.

It wouldn't matter anyway, there's not a single fully capitalist nation in the world today, even the United States provides free education for everyone, civil rights and even worker protection in the most minimum of ways.

The Communism movement during the Cold War served its job well, it pressured the West to provide it's citizens with many socialist perks to avoid revolution.

For example, Castro's movement and support of Latin American revolutionary movements forced Kennedy to aid South America and help them implant socialist principles in their society to avoid the Radical takeover of Communist parties.

the United States provides free education for everyone

I would have to disagree with this. What about tuition fees that most average students can't afford? Yes, there's student loans, but those put students into debt even after they're finished school. A student shouldn't have to be in debt.

Anyway, welcome. :)

Welcome :)

I disagree with you on several notions ("capitalism leads to a higher mode of production", "there is no fully capitalist society on the planet", etc), but we can discuss these in Learning.

Food for thought:
Statistically speaking, the centralization of the economy in the soviet union maximed production and industrialized the country in historically unpreceded levels.
They were faster, bigger and meaner than any industrialization process, and beat the record previously held by japan with their meiji reforms, resulting in a widespread usage of five year plans all over the world questioning western political hegemony even in their own area...
