Have any of you been blessed enough to hear this Holy music? The great Pope Gregory himself revised and published them. True music, not like the nonsense today's youth listen to.

Sorry, mate, but I love the nonsense I listen to. You can have Pope Gregory. Just give me Paul Oakenfold, any day.

Sepultura - Amen

I love my nonsense i listen to.

And btw I'm not serious about Amen. If you want religious shit go Soulfly.

Forgive Me Father
Forgive Me God
I Know I've Sinned
With No Remorse
Apocalyptic Visions
Went Through My Head Here Today

Gone Tomorrow
It's All Insane
I'm Feeling Sick
I'm Feeling Numb
The Storm Will Come
In The Name Of God I'm The Chosen One

Terror Raids The Land
To Ashes We'll Be Sent
In The Name Of God Lives Cast Away

Martyrdom Of Myself
Armageddon Comes
In The Name Of God Not One More Dead

Fire Blasting Cutting Edge
Children Burn In Flames
In The Name Of God We're Going Insane

Let Us Die
You Don't Realize
This Is The Time
God's Sacrifice

Leaving Behind
Lesson In Hate
In The Name Of God We're All Dead

"Jesus is a ****"

Yeah ok, so it's a dumb t-shirt, but I do get a certain pleasure from winding up reactionary fundies...

Anyone ever hear any Christian death metal? Odd shit. Living Sacrifice is pretty good though, kind of sounds like a cross between Hatebreed and Slayer.

Me and me mate reckon that Killswitch Engage sound like Jesuits. I guess Sepultura and Soulfly don't constitute death metal though...

I actually have some Gregorian Chants of the songs "Losing My Religion" (Originally by REM) and "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (Originally by Nirvana). They're really good.

Sepultura christian? aye?

Maybe there Chaos AD/Roots stuff but have you ever heard their Beastial Devastiation/Morbid Visions/Shizophrenia shit? Some apocalyptic lyrics they gots there my friend.

And Soulfly is horrible. Just that damn simple.

And Max's(soulfly's vocalist/guitarist and sepultura's old vocalist/guitarist) english sucked too during those olden years... Here's a song called Troops of Doom to remove your predijuce against sepultura!

Total Eclipse Hides The Earth
The Night Of Doom Has Come
Antichrist Soldiers Are Proclaimed
To Send Souls To The Hell
Catastrophe And Destruction
Mankind Is Slaughtered Without Mercy
Suphul Clouds Are In The Air
Legions Winds Corrose The Universe

The Messiah, Redeemers Of Mankind
Chained In The Valley Of Hades
Crowds Blinded By Evil
Only Death Is Real
Total Destruction
Walls Of Churches
Stained By Blood
Altars Burning In The Flames
The Doom Cries Out For Insanity

The Nuclear War Announces The End Of The World
The Mankind Is Buried And Forgotten
Prophets Foresee The Doom
They Foresee The Triumph Of Your Death

Sepultura christian? aye?

I dunno. Max Cavalera is Christian and that's all I know...

Max left Sepultura, formed the Sepultura tribute band Soulfly(well not really but there isn't 1 concert where he doesn't play Sepultura songs) and they got a new guy, Derrick Green, so no Max Ultra religious influence

And Sepultura, I think they're all religious, but i'm not sure.
Derrick(vocals), Paulo(bass) and Andreas(guitar) are christian, i think and Igor(drums) is jewish. I don't think that they'll make christian music when they have a jewish drummer(this guy was around before sepultura even had serious plans for a record)

I know Soulfly are catholic. On the back of "Primitive" there is what seems to be a roman catholic procession and in the bottom, it says "Dedicated to God". The lyrics in that album are quite religious but musically, its somewhat nu metal-ish and lost much of the death metal elements. Soulfly's first album and Max's work with Sepultura (which are more death metal) don't seem to have very religious lyrics. Though the members are religious, I wouldn't really call them "christian bands". Some members of Slayer and Judas Priest are christian as well.

What I meant by "christian death metal" are death metal bands whose lyrics are mostly about christianity such as Living Sacrifice, Embodyment, No Innocent Viktim, Circle Of Dust, etc.

I didn't know christian death metal existed before but my friend (who is a metalhead but is christian) introduced me to some of these bands.

:) okies

just checking, because there are alot of people who don't know that sepultura still exist.

And I have the Soulfly album "3" its pretty bad music/lyrics. And on the booklet there is also a Dedicated to God thing and inside the booklet there's this thing about a saint(St. Michel i think) and it says something about how "dA SuPrEmE sT. mIcHaEl wILe SaFe dA uRtH fRoM dA dEvEEl"
