Hello comrades!
I have plan to get Cuban citizenship and go to live there. I was in Habana before as tourist. I know that to get Cuban citizenship is very hard to complete, but anyway I must get it before I am satisfied. Have someone from you also tried to get this, or already have and now live in Cuba?

You would need to do it through naturalisation. The precise details on how to do it are hard to come by, but it will involve getting permanent resident status in Cuba and remaining there for a number of years. To get permanent residency, you will need to legally enter the country on a work or student Visa and then go through the process from there.
Either that or marry a Cuban citizen. But marriage does not affect citizenship in Cuba, so that would only get you to the right to permanent residency.
The main question though is why do you want to do it? Are you familiar enough with Cuba to know you want to live there and surrender any other citizenship you may have? (You will have to renounce previous citizenship to gain Cuban citizenship).

Its bad news that Cuba dont allow both citizenship, I wasn't known that.
So, I can renounce, if this is absolutely necessary.
I just want to live in Cuba because I am tired (I am 42y now, about 10y member of local communist-party) from capitalism, from exploitation by private-owners, from thinking all days about money, from listening and watching stupid advertisements. I finally want to live normal life, not always protest, but instead be satisfied by system.
In Cuba I can do work (computers), do example some anti-capitalism propaganda (I like this, like journalist) and live normal life. For work I don't need money, but only some food, where to live and medical help if this becomes needed.
I know that in Cuba economy is in catastrophe state (USA embargo example), but I can get all personal belongings and some money for relax with me. But the most important is that there I can feel myself as human,
even without money.
But is there some possibility that Cuban Communist Party can help me directly? (without all this marriage and etc bulshit)

the problem with cuba is that it is very beureucratic so you could be waiting for literally years to get such an important piece of documentation.

Not unless he's an American citizen.

Not unless he's an American citizen.
thats what i thought
If he is then he can maybe just wait a few years cause Obama & raul are talking about lifting it (yay)
A little advice, get as much money as you can now.
Look at it this way, beer is 4 cents in Cuba for citizens (a buck for tourists), it's worth it to have extra money because you will still have to worry about money, maybe more so than in your current country.

I would try to get in touch with a foreigner with permanent residency in Cuba, and ask them what processes they had to go through to obtain it. Perhaps your local CP could help you get in touch with someone, or you could contact someone via the internet. (Try Circles Robinson at http://circlesonline.blogspot.com (http://circlesonline.blogspot.com/), he's African-American journalist and blogger who has been resident in Cuba since 2004). I would advise against getting full Cuban citizenship for practical reasons, principally that it would make travel abroad to visit friends and family a considerable nuisance, as you'd require visas for most European countries, and would be unable to visit the US under almost any circumstances.
