the spectacular system has finished the loop. we are living in a self serving society which has no room for fundamental dissent, just televised debate. whether this debate comes in the form of a vote every few years or a riot every demonstration is of no concern to the system. the winner has already been decided.
the forces have been so routed that the working class does not even see itself as a class with a fundamental relationship to society. instead it is split into lower, middle and upper classes - completely abstract and meaningless notions that confuse and divide instead of unite.
really independant thought is no longer an option if one wants to function in a crowd. you go to work and try and talk to people but soon realize there is nothing there. words and phrases and ideas are simply a rehash of what was on tv last night.
the international situation is no better. the romantic cuba disappears into a crypto-plutocratic ghetto. the union of soviet socialist republics is a russian mob scam. the great emerging states compete with the established dominion of western imperialism and not one of them offers much of a difference. would you prefer the aristocrat capitalism of india or the state capitalism of china?
charles manson told his followers to go to the desert and get in a hole, hide until helter skelter subsided and emerge as the new society. friends, it is time to go to the desert.
arm yourself. get as much ammunition as possible: it will soon be the most powerful bartering currency next to food and water. hoard seed. dig a hole and learn to duck and cover. buy water purification tablets and get a geiger counter. get a gas mask. learn to trap and snare animals. learn what plants are edible. form blitzkrieg strategies with your friends so that you can hit cities, grab what you need and get out before rival gangs kill you.
