Gill Scott-Heron - opinions

I have seen a show of Gill Scott-Heron on tv yesterday and it was excellent.
I don't really knew his music before but now I can say that he is a great musician.

So what are your opinions on him?

Gil-Scott Heron is amazing, and fantastic and brilliant.
Especially "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised".
Also, practically any music that has a flute on it is good, in my book.
