Well, I like some music made in the Soviet Russia. But there were so many different bands and the music they made was also different. For example I like a rock band KINO from the Soviet time. And I like also how the Soviet male choir sung the Internationale. And there are many more good things...

Armenia is not a Russian speaking country, the official language there is Armenian.

Maaja, I can;)

I've also got a good collection of recordings, and a fair library of Soviet songbooks.

As for being Armenian and speaking Russian: people in all member states of the USSR learned to speak some Russian, but it usually wasn't their first language. I don't think Armenians are all that different from Estonians -- and if an average Estonian hears you referring to Estonia as a Russian-speaking country, you may expect to receive severe bodily injuries;)

I like Tchaykovsky. He could get along with the Sovjets, couldn't he?
