I think if you look at it objectively, the US military is clearly the most powerful and has the most global reach (they are the only military which has supercarriers, and they have 11 of them).

Of course, that is not to say that they can't be beat on their own turf by a determined population, as shown in Vietnam and soon to be shown in Iraq.

Supercarriers make one hell of a big target. The Soviets if going to war with the US would use long range semi-smart missiles to take them out. U r right about a war with gurillia war if the US was fighting it. They cant win if they play fair. A modern organized army is no match for a farmer with an AK-47 or any weapon that can easily be made or is easy to take care of and cheap.

I think you are misunderstanding the point of the History and politics forums. They don't exist to spout useless nonsense like this but are intended for intelligent debate about happenings concerned with the revolutionary left.
