I went to see 'The wall' live last night in belfast.
5 stars. It had everything, laser shows, CGI , giant inflatable animals and headmasters. Also, they sound absolutely pitch perfect (most of the time).
As close as you'll get to being in the prescence of Waters, Gilmour, and co.

Sounds very much like it was an exact replica of The Wall tour, would I be right?
I've never been a big fan of Pink Floyd apart from Piper at the Gates of Dawn, but its good that there are still some top tribute acts going about that (for once) do the original band justice.

Indeed, the only thing missing was the 'actual wall'. In the original performance they literally built a cardboard wall between performers and audience (Waters claimed it was a visual metaphor for the sense of alienation between himself and fans). Instead this was replaced by a cinema screen with the gerald scarfe movies projected onto it. Dave Gilmour's stand in dropped the ball vocally a couple of times, but its only niggling criticisms. Roger Waters was perfect and so were the instrumentals.
We even got a 5 song encore, including shine on you crazy diamond, wish you were here, The great gig in the sky and brain damage.
Well worth the entrance fee.

I went to watch them last year and they were amazing
My only problem is that for a tribute band, £35 a ticket is pricey. That is the only thing that stopped me going to watch them in Cardiff this year

agh you should have took the price tag on the chin.
The gig ended up lasting 3 hours, you got your moneys worth.

Tribute bands... the ultimate in uncreativity! When there gone there gone.
A pet hate for me.
