I see a LOT of Sid Vicious avatars floating around on RevLeft. As a huge
music geek myself, I am sorta confused: wouldn't John Lydon be a much more influential and talented punk artist? I remember buying "Sid Sings" years ago and, well, I like PiL much more...
I'm not insulting ol' Sid, just wondering why he's so popular.

There's a user named STJ who was kicked out of chit-chat. The Sid avatars are from comrades of his showing solidarity. Check their sigs or statements under their names, you'll likely see reference to STJ somewhere.
